Dear  Wyandot Family,

While there are only a few days before Christmas, and many of us are still trying to power shop our way to the last minute, let's take a few minutes to remember the true spirit of the season.  Family, friendship and food can be the center piece for wonderful discussions about the past, present and future moments in our lives.  Remembering the days of old and the fond memories of moments with loved ones who have walked on, can be bittersweet.  But they can also remind us of not letting the days right now, go by without letting our loved ones know how we feel about them.  Seize the moment, seize the day, by never letting the sun go down with regret of what you have done each day.  We all are busy, but simple phone calls, texts or face to face "I love you"s always make the recipients feel good and will make you feel the true meaning of this Holiday season.  As the New Year approaches, make a commitment to be kinder, gentler and more aware of each others' needs.  Pay it forward.  Help others out, open doors for people, be patient in the return lines, let others go first once in a while, remember those who are shut-ins or ill,  make someone dinner as a surprise.  Remember those in need, those you know and those you don't.  Help feed the hungry, give to the poor and be a Secret Santa all year long.  The Christmas spirit can last all year if you will let it.  Pray for peace.  Hope for prosperity and most importantly, Love One Another!

Be proud of your heritage!  You are a Wyandot, and do not be afraid to let others know it.  Participate in your Tribal Community and help us bring new ideas to the table.  I have asked  Jennifer Marentette, a Gronda Family member and Vice President of Corporate Development with the American Heart Association, to conduct an anonymous survey to help us develop a new direction for the Tribe to work towards and to find out what is working and what is not.  We need to create a new and more involved and exciting approach to making the Wyandot of Anderdon Nation move forward with enthusiasm and purpose.  There will be an email to this effect soon.  We would like your help.

So,  Merry Christmas to you all and a very Happy New Year, filled with prosperity, good health, and much love.

Kindest regards & and Skennon (peace)
