52nd Annual Dance for Mother Earth Pow Wow (Ann Arbor Pow Wow)

The Ann Arbor Pow Wow—officially known as the Dance for Mother Earth Pow Wow—returns for its 52nd year on March 28–29, 2026. This long-standing cultural celebration brings together dancers, singers, drummers, and community members to honor Native traditions and community.

What to Expect

While the full 2026 schedule has not yet been released, attendees can expect a traditional pow wow format, including:

  • Grand Entries – Formal openings featuring dancers, drums, and flag processions

  • Dance Competitions – Multiple categories for men, women, and youth

  • Drumming & Singing – Traditional and contemporary Native songs

  • Food & Craft Vendors – Authentic Native-made goods and cuisine

  • Community Gathering – A welcoming space for cultural learning and connection
