Services
Below are the current services and programs available through the Wyandot of Anderdon Nation.
Citizenship
The Wyandot of Anderdon Nation (WoAN) Citizenship rolls are currently closed.
- Open Enrollment Period: WoAN will announce Open Enrollment Periods. Enrollment Periods will be published in the Events Calendar when the Nation is ready to allow open enrollment.
- Enrollment Documents for New Enrollees: Forms can only be requested during an Open Enrollment Period. The Enrollment process requires signed forms and supporting documentation. Please email the Citizenship Chair during the Open Enrollment period at membership@wyandots.org.
- Enrollment Documents for Existing Citizens: Starting in January 2024, existing citizens are required to complete a new Enrollment Form and provide documents like certified birth certificates, copies of marriage licenses/divorce documents, and a copy of their driver’s license (if 18+). This requirement is part of Federal Acknowledgement preparation.
- Change of Contact Information Process:
- Citizens can update their personal information and information for minor children. Updates for other adults must be requested via email and verified by the Citizenship Committee.
- Send address, phone number, or email changes to membership@wyandots.org.
- Applications to Run for Office (Family Representative): Adult citizens who have paid all fees and completed the 2024 forms with documentation may run for Council.
- Education Opportunities:
- Wyandot of Anderdon Scholarship Program: Every year, the Nation provides 5 × $500 scholarships to high school seniors who meet the following criteria:
- Available to graduating seniors aged 17–19 with an active enrolled parent.
- Must have Enrollment Application, certified birth certificate, and driver’s license on file.
- Must pay first Citizenship Fees if turning 18 between 01/01 and 08/10 of the entry year.
- Complete the Scholarship Form to apply.
